Update to 3.0?

Is it compatible with 3.0? I couldn't manage to make it work, seems to be related to the extension Swift_SmtpTransport::send method, but couldn't figure out what is wrong.

Thanks for this plugin. I think it would benefit if it used the api instead of the smtp user. That would make it faster and allow for multiple email senders...

When sending a test email the request returns a 504. Checked the credentials and they are correct. Not sure what may be causing this.
