Videos can fail to upload but still end up in the video database

Resulting in weird behaviour like this...

Where I think there was an ongoing multi-part upload in R2.

Not totally clear if that is accurate, but worth a code read of the upload code to make sure that the R2 files are uploaded successfully before we add the video to the database and not the other way around.
