I call it an enhancement because the function is correct (i.e., it does not deleted the whitelisted files), and it takes extra code to speed it up. Whatever it is...
Which Linux distribution and version are you using? Did you install BleachBit from https://www.bleachbit.org or from your distro's package repository? Which theme is it? Please try another theme.
