Feature Request: How to create a self-defined profie and change the shortcuts?

I want to play some games which does not support any controllers. Also, their key settings are not common. So, I wish to create a new profile by myself and define some specific shortcuts. I saw the experimental support for user controllers profile in the release page. However,I did not see this option in the setup page. Could you please tell me how to achieve this goal? If it is required to code by myself, is there any brief instruction to follow?

I’m on holidays now. Will answer in about 1.5week. You can as well look at UserProfiles examples and move this file into UserProfiles folder and experiment with it.

Did you ever have any luck with this, I also would love to make my own profiles for games with uncommon key settings, but don't know where to start. *I have tried out this program as well as SWICD and others, I think this is the best Windows Steam Deck Controls but really need the customizations to maximize potential! :)
