How to check if the kinesis agent has read all the logs present in the given file path

Hi, I was wondering if there is any way to know if the kinesis agent has completed reading a file. I want to delete the file once after the kinesis agent reads it.

Please let me know if there is any event kind of thing on which I could rely on deleting a file after kinesis agent reading.
