[Roadmap] URL Sharing

We envision the ability to bookmark a populated graph and share it with others.

Potential Scope

  • Bookmark a populated graph
  • Refresh the browser and restore the current state of the graph
  • Share the URL with another user and load the graph in their browser

Hey @kmcginnes - I see that this was on the roadmap for Q1 of this year, but I don't see it pinned for any upcoming release. Any insight on a roadmap update for this by chance?

@disfluxly Good catch. We ended up deciding that the file sharing mechanism gets us 90% of the way there. And that last 10% for URL sharing opens up some security concerns and implementation complexity.

I'll have to bring this inconsistency in the roadmap up with the team to see how we want to address it.
