The ECS Event Capture feature [1] was just launched on October 2nd, 2025, and is currently only supported via the AWS Console. Unfortunately, it is not yet available for use through the AWS CLI or CloudFormation.

Would like to know more about what is desired from this feature?
Given that the feature is heavily Console based, are we looking to create the necessary resources to enable the feature only, and then querying would remain on Console, or is there a larger ask?
