Tell us about your request Add tolerations config to the kube-proxy addon (like the ebs-csi). The kube-proxy supports this, but the config in aws eks addon does not.
Which service(s) is this request for? EKS / kube-proxy addon
Tell us about the problem you're trying to solve. What are you trying to do, and why is it hard? Taint a nodes to only run core workload on them.
Are you currently working around this issue? -/-
Would a node selector also achieve the outcome you want?
Hi @timb-controlplane, we plan to taint the node to run core/critical workload only on this nodes to isolate them from regular apps. From the core addons, kube-proxy is the only one we use who doesn't support this. Would be great to have this option. Thanks!
we need that too. thanks.
