CloudFormation Template Editor :: Syntax Coloring :: Eclipse Preferences

When selecting "Syntax Coloring" from within Eclipse => Preferences => AWS Toolkit => CloudFormation Template Editor I receive the following error (see attached screenshot):

• Unable to create the selected preference page. org/eclipse/jdt/internal/ui/javaeditor/JavaSourceViewer

The most recent version of Java Developer Tools is installed. I am using Eclipse IDE for Enterprise Developers, Version 2018-12 (4.10.0), Build 20181214-0600:

Thanks for reporting this error. Does Eclipse show the same error when opening other preference page or it shows this error only when you are opening this CloudFormation preference page?

I cannot reproduce this error though in my mac.

I get the same error on my mac as well, it shows when opening the CloudFormation Template -> Syntax Coloring page
