Support feature toggles
Grafana has a list of features that are behind toggles ( see here ) . Using them on self-hosted Grafana is possible, but AWS is behind on this with the AMG.
This post mentions to upvote on roadmap, however related issue was closed without actually implementing feature toggles, so I am creating the new one.
Please support passing feature toggles in Cloudformation.
@strowk Can you share a list of top feature toggles that you would like to be enabled? Or is the preference is for the ability to manage feature toggles yourself.
I would also like this, if we could manage the feature toggles ourselves that would be great!
I believe it would be better if this issue would be not about specific flags, but about supporting turning on any arbitrary flag.
It would likely be more convenient to have possibility of enabling feature immediately when it is available without waiting for corresponding issue in github to be resolved, which can take weeks or months.
If any specific feature flags are interesting for someone, I would suggest to create separate issue for them. Thanks!
Doing it in any other way would deny community from expressing the need for being able to turn on any arbitrary flag. I.e each such expression would simply end up same as the issue linked above - closed as specific feature flag is turned on, regardless of what people who upvoted the issue actually wanted.
