Region filers are showing morethan selected
Hi Team, I would need your help to understand the regions or accounts selection . I can see more region filers than selected regions. I don't know where to check actually. Can any one guide me please. In the below image i have selected one account with Show Global resources and region. However, in Regions left above it is showing 5 Regions , which is wrong it should show us only 2 Regions is-int it? . Can any one help me to resolve this issue.
Hi there, I don't quite follow what the issue is. Do you you have five separate accounts each bringing in a separate region and you've filtered on this single account but it's still showing resources for regions in the other accounts?
Yes true.
Are each of the regions different? By which I mean
Account Id | Regions |
---|---|
012345678912 | us-east-1 |
987654321012 | eu-west-1 |
11111111111 | eu-central-1 |
When I do a test if I filter on a single account I only get resources from the filtered account in the region that was selected but maybe I'm not replicating your scenario correctly.
Filtering the Regions is the a major issue. I can see more region filters than selected regions or I need to “off” the “show” toggle button for not required accounts each and every time. It would be very difficult to do every time if we have more than 10 accounts in the Filters.
my resources are available in only one region (eu-central-1).
What I'm saying is that I can't reproduce your issue, when I deselect an account in my Perspective install it doesn't display the resources from the other accounts and the number of filters changes to the correct number for me. Can you go to your browser's Dev Tools and refresh the page and in the Network tab find the the body of the request that was sent to theresources
API (it's the one highlighted in the screenshot below). I want to see if the filters are being sent to the backend correctly.
