Subtitles appearing out of order or partially omitted for large files

Open LuckyUkrainian opened this issue 1 year ago • 1 comments

Tested by uploading a 597 MB .mp4 video in Dutch (talk show type of content with fast-paced speech), displaying Dutch transcription after analysis. Lines of subtitles omitted what seems like arbitrarily. One line will stay on screen for too long, while the next line should have already displayed. Then subtitles will try to catch up, omitting the in-between line(s). The issue is present with both Chrome and Firefox. Video duration : 1h

Looks like the issue is with large files (or long videos). Were able to confirm this by uploading and analyzing a 5 min segment of the same video, where the described issue wasn't seen. Subtitles worked normally.

In both cases, Subtitles generated by Transcribe are identical and correct. The issue seems to come from the player / portal application itself.

Solution version: v2.0.1
