This would allow another shared storage mechanism besides EFS.

My individual need to to allow it to be used as a GitLab Runner Cache in an EKS cluster that is purposed specific for running GitLab runner.

However, I also see Rafay needs a bootstrap bucket - so it could be a generic need across many applications that might want to use this Quick Start!
