Maintain a VSCode extension that's also in open-vsx.org

Would it be possible that AWS owns and maintain a VSCode extension that's also published to https://open-vsx.org/

i.e. instead of users relying on 2020 outdated https://github.com/kddejong/cfn-python-lint that's also not published at https://open-vsx.org/ and therefore cannot be used on any of VSCode forks?

This would make it much easier to use the extension in project such as

• gitpod.io
• theia-ide.org
• VS Codium
• code-server
