I'd love something even more advanced like https://stackblitz.com/codeflow—see the changes you're making right there as you make them!
But there're a few issues to discuss:
- How likely are people to understand that they can press "." on a site to get to an editor? Is this likely to confuse them?
- The pages are majorly transcluded by platform in most places. Do we need to focus on bringing back "a single page editing experience"?
- Why don't we make the edit buttons link to github.dev anyway?
