Is there currently a roadmap or statement on when UI Components and further connected components will be available in Angular?

This is becoming more relevant now. We are using the old connected image component and the new authenticator. This used to be fine because the connected image component was available via legacy. However, the latest release removes the legacy module, which would block us from upgrading as long as there is no replacement for the "legacy" connected image component.
