amplify-hosting Cannot Deploy or Push to Amplify: `Parameters: [hostedUI] must have values`

Describe the bug

I cannot deploy nor push (i.e. use amplify push) to my environment. It seems like the associated Cloudformation deployment fails because of an auth setting. Attached is the latest log. It appears it wants a hostedUI parameter, but I'm not sure how to solve. log (2).txt

Expected behavior

Push being successful and deployment deploying.

Navigate to https://us-east-1.console.aws.amazon.com/amplify/home?region=us-east-1#/dxb789pifky28/main/7?step=BUILD
Click "Redeploy this Version".

@Joshua-FlareFS Not sure if this will help you but every once in a while I run into a similar auth error even though nothing's changed. what fixes it is running

amplify auth update

and then walking through all the configuration steps without modifying anything. Worth noting that I've only configured 3rd party auth with Facebook so my steps are auth update -> walkthrough all configs -> add/edit signin and signout redirect URIs without changing anything.

Thanks for the suggestion. Running it didn’t work ☹. I received the same errors. Grasping for straws, I tried simply removing auth (amplify remove auth) which allowed me to be able to push again, but anytime I try to deploy via the console, I’m getting an error message:

Cannot push Amplify environment "staging" due to missing Lambda function environment variable values. Rerun 'amplify push' without '--yes' to fix. - Function getQuickbooksCode is missing values for environment variables: REDIRECT_URL, QUICKBOOKS_CLIENT_ID, ENVIRONMENT.

I’ve verified that these variables are set both locally when I push using amplify push and in the Lambda function via the console when I check the environment variables for this function. Ultimately, I’m still not in a deployable state unfortunately.

I ended up just created a new Amplify App and starting to copy all the resources over. AWS support was unfortunately able to help me get this app in a working state.

Related, do you have any tips from moving functions from one Amplify app to another easily?
