Attention! There are some quick&dirty fixes, because you want some format what isn't saved in this way in Java - so we have to use some tricks.

Just a heads up, you can't paste in the AM/PM string, since it's not always "AM" or "PM". An idea I had, which I'll get to when I have more time on my hands, is to be able to switch out the formatter backend to be either Java stdlib, or ICU4j.
