Firefox <base> tag problem

Found out, that if there is a base tag present on my homepage, then on Firefox the gradientmap doesn't work. It simply doesn't find the filter.

There are is a solution for this problem, but my question is that shouldn't this be also added to gradientmaps.js?

If you can come up with a fix, please do a pull request and I'll merge it in.
