Documentation rendering issue starting with Ubuntu 23.10

The code we use to mask the border when rendering the doc (which is only used for the doc) stopped working. Might be a regression upstream, but still, we will need a workaround. Compiled in Docker using ubuntu:23.04 and it worked. Both 23.10 and 24.04 don't work.
