API calls to enable/disable auto-HDR tone mapping

Originally posted by roundaboutluke June 18, 2025 Sorry if I've missed it, but I can only seem to find a way to fully toggle HDR tone mapping on or off from the API, which doesn't impact the auto HDR mode.

Essentially, I watch most media via infuse on my Apple TV. This means I can use the API to call HDR to turn on/off accordingly via Tautulli detecting the whether the content is HDR or not and tie it all together nicely with Home Assistant.

However some media outside of this is occasionally watch (Apple TV app) and other devices like the PS5 I feed in via the input splitter where I can't capture the HDR status I need it to be able to toggle it back on.

Essentially I want to toggle off auto while taking manual control and then being able to hand the control back to HyperHDR to detect for anything else that makes sense!

Sorry if this is a niche request and thanks for all your work on the project, it's amazing and your blog tutorials coupled with the info here on Github have been great.
