This looks very nice. But I am worried about the configuration environment at the end of the file as well as the 15s interval values. Do you think that this file should be more of a template (with extension .template) for instance.

Can you also please update the readme.md file with details about k8s deploiment?

Note that not everyone using prometheus operator so all provided ServiceMonitor wont work - why not just provide clean deployment instead
