No Synaptics Touchpad device found!

Windows 10/64 1909 Build 18363.959, Core2 Duo T5870, 4GB RAM, Dell Vostro 1510.

I've tried every Dell OEM driver as well as those from other OEM's along with drivers direct from Synaptic-- nothing works. It will say it's installed, but the touchpad proerties under Synaptic in the mouse settings only has "buttons" listed, nothing else.

Device manager hardware ID of my touchpad is:

PS/2 Port Touchpad, ACPI\VEN_SYN&DEV_0705

However, when I run two-finger scroll, it doesn't detect the touchpad at all? TwoFingerScrollError

I meant to add that I've booted up as live Linux USB/OS and the touchpad does, in fact, work--- just not under Windows?
