Download all attachments
Someone searched on Google for "i want zandy zotero to download all pdfs on my device and let me access them offline" and landed on the Zandy pages at gimranov.com. It's possible to do what the searcher wants, but it's a bit of a pain. I could see the utility of it, so let's plan on eventually making it possible to queue all the attachments for a given collection for download.
This necessarily comes after making downloads properly asynchronous.
This would be an excellent addition to Zandy - I actually hoped it was already implemented when I bough it... I need my PDFs with me, not to be dependent on net access to the cloud.
It might be nice to download specific folders or specific tags instead of the all attachments (but maybe have an option for that too?). This is something I would expect to see in a long-click menu.
While I'm not the googler named above, this feature is useful when travelling and wifi is either unreliable or non-existant.
Has there been any progress on the downloading of all pdfs issue (as themeo discussed)? I also bought under the impression that it already supports this.
This is a requirement for me, too. For now I'm copying the PDFs in the Zotero library with the help of Zotfile.
I add my vote for this feature. Without that, Zotero is kind of useless for people who need to keep their papers with them whether or not they have Internet.
