When switching notes, reading time is show for previous note, not current one

When I open Obsidian, it correctly shows me the reading time for the current note (4 minutes in this case): image

When I click to the next note, the rest of that area updates, but the reading time is still the same as the previous note (4 mins) even though this note has many less words: image

Then when I click back to original note, instead of the original reading time (4 mins), I now get what appears to be the reading time for the other note (2 mins which fits the number of words better): image

I can then switch back and forwards between any notes I like and the reading time always appears to be for the previous note rather than the current one. The only time the reading appears to be for the correct note is when I first open Obsidian.

I'm using v1.5.12 of Obsidian and v1.1.1 of Reading Time.

I hope this is something that can be fixed. Thanks!

Okay, with a bit more testing, I've narrowed the problem down:

The reading time is correct if I navigate to a note through a link or through the tab menu up the top.

It is incorrect (ie shows the reading time for the previous note) if I navigate to a note through the left hand sidebar / panel that comes up when you click the Files icon in the top left.
