Pause the Lyric updater when menubar is hidden. Should reduce CPU usage when invisible.
Check for network calls made on Spotify on iOS and enable translated lyrics. Alternatively, use third party API to translate the lyrics. Enable option to display these translated lyrics instead...
When the same song plays again, we don't receive a song change notification. LyricUpdater stays in the loop. Drift Fix is never called.
Lyric Fever on Spotify: 0.1 to 1% CPU usage Lyric Fever on Apple Music: 0.1 to 6% CPU usage The lyric updater is duplicating in xcode logs. don't know why.
unpause starts the lyric updater, setting the timeline for the next lyric update. it should also update the current lyric immediately rn
Need to start translating the menu bar strings as well as the onboarding window strings. In all the languages App Store and LyricsX (the ancestor) supports.
Perhaps using the AppleScript Spotify data I can detect when the current device is an Amazon Echo and automatically insert a 3 second delay?
Have not debugged but Spotify might be returning incorrect playback timing (maybe a 0.0 repeatedly?) When casting to Google Home.
like Apple Music. A work in progress Missing features: - change lyric change animation based on how soon the next lyric will appear (slow in general, fast for quick lyrics)...
This is really bad. I wonder why the onboarding message comes up. Further debugging needed.
