Spotify lyrics freeze for a few seconds and then go back to normal
I'm using macOS 26.1 beta on M1, Spotify 1.2.73.474 and LyricFever 3.1. A month ago everything worked fine, but today I tried it again and noticed that lyrics take way longer to appear and when it's finally working it freezes at a line or stop focussing on one line of the lyrics. It's even worse when it's on the background (another display) and I'm using another program at the same time. I also noticed it sometimes disappear from the menu bar completely and then comes back at a random point.
Here's an example, on Spotify the lyrics are completely fine and synchronized. However, on Lyric Fever they're stuck at a previous line and stays that way for a few minutes.
Did you notice this after upgrading to the 26.1 beta? Is it only happening in the fullscreen view?
Strange because this has never happened to me. The "hidden menubar" behavior is Apple silently hiding Lyric Fever when your menubar has run out of space. You can adjust the truncation length using the slider, or you can click the "..." button and turn "Show song details" off
It also seems like there's a bit of a lyrics mismatch. Perhaps you downloaded the non-spotify lyrics when my app's Spotify connection was down? Maybe try refreshing the lyrics for that song?

It was working perfectly on macOS 26.0 Beta (I skipped 26.0 Stable), that could be the issue, but I don't have another Tahoe Silicon Mac to test it out. It happens on all modes, even on karaoke and menubar mode. I've reloaded lyrics several times, but I don't know if it's downloading lyrics from Spotify as I've connected it but I'm not a Premium user. Spotify only shows a few lyrics for me (like 4 lyrics on a 20 songs playlist).
I'll try to use this on my Intel MacBook to check if it's a connection/Spotify issue.

that's pretty weird. i'm on the 26.1 beta and it works fine for me. maybe it's because i'm on apple silicon and this is a very specific intel bug? maybe try my latest build: nothing spotify-related has been changed, but perhaps by building it on the latest xcode some bug was magically fixed?
to check if the lyrics are from spotify, please try hitting the search button on lyric fever and see if lyrics from spotify ever show up in the search results
I'm on M1, but I'm now on 26.1 Beta 2 and I'm getting the LyricFever update. I'll tell you how that goes. :)
Hey, I'm getting the same issue. I have a feeling it's not downloading from Spotify, I'm a free user and lyrics only show on Spotify for like 5 songs on a playlist and the rest show no lyrics.
an easy way to check is to use the search button in lyric fever and see if you're getting any lyrics from Spotify

Can anyone not on the 26.1 beta confirm that this happens in the fullscreen view for them? Not sure if it's a bug in my app or a bug in the 26.1 beta. This sucks :(
