Control with Keyboard and/or Mouse

Hi, It would be nice to control the slide show with keyboard and/or mouse at the USB ports of the Raspi. Of course some how limited that users can't mess with the OS.

For the beginning controls like following would be nice: start/pause slide show next picture previous picture

Advanced controls: switch to thumbnail overview, select picture to display, start slideshow from here

Anyways. A great project you started here. I'm glad you did it.

The first proposal sounds feasible. I'll take it as enhancement.

The second idea sound also interesting. However, the basics are not available (thumbnails and browsing images) so I don't see there a chance in the mid-term future.

Hi @avanc, I think I read somewhere here that you were planning to rewrite the application in python, is that something you're still planning for?
I think that extending the prev/next, and pause/resume slideshow would be really useful to include in the HTTP API, and even better would be the ability to lock the HTTP API with an API password and an SSL certificate.
