bools not handled correctly in setup

Bools aren't read and set from their defaults or from prefs.json correctly in the setup TUI, making annoying things happen like plugins not autoimport.

Affected prefs: well, any bool, but specifically have noticed AUDIOSERVER and AUTOPLUGIN
