preserving the case of completion in the context
Its a feature request.. `dabbrev-expand' has this., I don't its already possible in auto complete..
Start emacs
Emacs -Q
in scratch buffer type
Hello he|
now at the cursor if you press M-/ , the completion happens and result would look like the following
Hello hello
See the second hello is not capitalized..
if you the same with auto-complete enabled
you will have second hello Capitalized.
So could I get the dabbrev-expand like transformation of completion at given contex.?
Hope my question is clear
By the way if you are curious why I need this., When I edit python code the auto-completion becomes a PITA than helping with all the camel case classes and lower case variable names,
This may be difficul to implement...
This is really taking pleasure away of auto-complete for me.
is there a hook available to run just after a candidate selection.? (eg; ac-complete or ac-complete-1)
Thanks for the earlier reply.
