The chart, as it is still beta is subject to breaking changes. I intend to do some significant refactoring in v0.9 and this will not be compatible with values from v8 or prior. Please feel free to give feedback in the PR #129 or #108 which is the issue that triggered the changes. I'd like some feedback in advance of releasing if possible.
