This goes with #7279. References to /authorization docs refer to that PR. This should be pushed second or permissions links added to #7279 and both pushed together.

@rkhoriander The accompanying PR has been merged; is this PR still valid?

@khorne3, I need to check on this. They were still discussing whether changes needed to be made to this last I checked. I'll follow up!
