Publish to Open VSX

🙋 Feature Request

I would be nice to have the extension published to Open VSX

🤔 Expected Behavior

… so it’s available out of the box in VSCodium etc.

😯 Current Behavior

No search results found for “Aurelia” on OpenVSX or in VSCodium

Thanks for reporting. This is the second request for OpenVSX already.

Unfortunately, I can already they, that this is lower prio right now. Just because it involves another platform and some management/org update.

Alternatively, I started to upload the .vsix file to the release pages https://github.com/aurelia/vscode-extension/releases Hope this can satisfy you a little bit!

Maybe, I can add an issue, where I post .vsix updates for subscription purposes, would that work @0xEAB?

It might not be ideal, but having ready to use builds available on the releases page makes installing them easier (compared to downloading them from the VS Code marketplace website).
