Dynamic blur effects have square corners

Hi I love this extension, but I was just wondering why it is that dynamic blur doesn't have rounded corners? I heard that it's impossible or something, but I just wanted to hear from people that know what they're talking about! I think static blur is great, but it's definitely not the same as dynamic blur (nor as cool) so was wondering if getting rounded corners for it one day was in the cards or not. Cheers

This is from README.md:

dynamic blur makes the component translucent, and blur directly what is behind it you can only use a gaussian blur for this kind of blurring: this means that it is not possible to add corners, for example

I think that probably means if you apply dynamic blur to dock and/or panel you can't have rounded corners, and that's why those square corners appear?

There is a hack that we discussed here that may fix your problem, you do have to recompile gnome shell and the extension tho.
