Dash to Dock blur behavior in tiled windows

Open rafisics opened this issue 11 months ago • 3 comments

I am facing an odd issue often. I use Gnome extensions Blur My Shell, Ubuntu Tiling Assistant, and Dash to Dock in Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. Let's say, I am titling two windows side by side. I want the dash hidden until I hover to the bottom edge. But it becomes visible when I am focusing on the right window and I don't know how but it's not happening all the time.

It seems like this behavior is somehow occurring when I keep the option Dash to Dock blur on.

For now, I am staying away from it by turning off the option.

Same issue. Using Fedora 41 on gnome 47.4. Turning off the blur also removed the issue.

I have kept the option turned off and changed the opacity with the Dash to Dock extension.

Same, happens to me as well. If I have a window tiled to left everything works as expected, but if I tile it to the right, the the dock will show up...
