Does not work on multi-monitor setup on Gnome 44

Open adonespitogo opened this issue 1 year ago • 1 comments

Hi, I have a strange problem on gnome 44 and multi-monitor setup. When the work space is on the primary display, the second monitor hides the applications and only displays the desktop background. Although it works when I enable workspaces in all displays.

Please see the video in this thread.

You need to add more details. I managed to replicate your issue and found out its "Workspaces on primary display only".

As a workaround go to gnome settings -> Multitasking and under "Multi-Monitor" choose "Workspaces on all displays".

Keep the issue open in case someone wants to figure out how to fix it. Maybe also re-name the issue to "Mutimonitor: 'Workspaces on primary display only' doesn't work".
