Programs not appearing

Just downloaded, 0.10.2, and my active programs aren't showing up next to the audio device like I've seen in examples. See here. I can see the active programs when I change the view, but when I try to change the routing I get the error code 0x00000005: Access is denied. Router functionality not available. I am trying to route programs to VBCable, but the error appears if anything is selected to route to. Not sure what else to do here.

Try running as admin?
