audio-router Error code 0x00000005

Win10 Pro 1703 x64

Game: 7DaysToDie Get error 0x00000005 cause AntiCheatTool "EasyAntiCheat", and "BattleEye". I can start start game without AntiCheatTool , then it works.

I'm having the same problem with google chrome now, it says access denied maybe it's an authorisation issue

I had the same issue on one of my kid's computers and he was trying to use Audio Router to route chrome's audio through VoiceMeeter Banana.
error code 0x00000005 access is denied I had to run his chrome as administrator and it started working! It also fixed it so that chrome would show up normally in the Audio Router window, otherwise he'd have to click File->"Switch View" in order to see chrome, and even then it wouldn't work, but after running as administrator it works perfectly. :-)

@meadowsjared Ty so much dude. I was trying to get a game that uses Battle Eye and I couldn't get it to recognize the game, read this and wallah, instantly fixed. Really appreciate the post.
