That would work for me! It would help a lot with collections like Fasti, where the weird BP without notation makes it look like eg Late Antiquity ends in AD...

So that patch looked fine, and I merged it -- and now the "BP" after "300" in the end date is back (I thought I'd fixed that in the patch)....
