Feature request: Calendar events available as entity in Home Assistant

Is it possible to make a defined number of upcoming appointments of a calendar available as an entity in Home Assistant in such a way that they can be used further on? I have already read in some forums that other people would like to do so (briefing in the morning).

i believe this would require an integration instead of a card
