No event today not working

This may have a simple problem but maybe I am to simple to see the solution, but the showNoEventsForToday is not working for me,

I have as day/ rota on google calendar and blank day are days off. I was hoping these would show up in the calendar as no events, but I get nothing with either true or false.

showNoEventsForToday is working only for today, not for any other day. If I want to show events from next 14 days, many at same day, it would be too long if I'd like to show "no events" for every other day. It could be possible, but I don't have that in my TODO list yet. The idea behind this calendar was to show the upcoming events, not all of the days.
