Move to Typescript

The latest bug really puts into perspective how much I need tests, however implementing tests is hard with the interaction between twitter & discord, I'll have to be smart about this.

In the meantime, moving to typescript would avoid some dumb mistakes & typos and i would overall be a valuable enhancement to the codebase.
