Detection problem on Unbuntu 16.04

Hello,

Not sure you are still working on the project but I happen to have the following issue with the new clickshare recently installed in my office.

I used to have it working in the past with a previous version of clickshare but not anymore.

her is my debug when the clickshare is plugged into the laptop : `=========================================================================== Oct 7 21:56:33 ljarbinet-T460 gnome-session[1954]: /usr/bin/caffeine:25: PyGIWarning: Gtk was imported without specifying a version first. Could you please help us me with that ? Thanks Laurent

As can be seen on <URL: http://bugs.debian.org/820587 >, the response from BarCo Product Manager Michael Vanderheeren when asking for permission to include the client software in Debian was:

"I understand your request. However, as the ClickShare Button Client and Launcher are a vital part of the user experience; And the linux version is not on par with the latest Windows and Mac releases, nor further maintained; We cannot provide you with the authority to redistribute a package with content that is closely related to our brand, product and its user experience."

Without permission to distribute a client package in Debian this project was no longer interesting to me. Perhaps Hans-Petter is still interested?

Did you ask BarCo for help?

You might find the output from 'udevadm info /dev/bus/usb/XXX/YYY' and /lib/udev/rules.d/70-uaccess.rules useful for debugging.

Because of the lack of support from BarCo for the Linux community I would recommend against buying ClockShare. I am sad for you that already have spent money on it.

Happy hacking Petter Reinholdtsen
