github-for-jira Documentation on GH Issues -> Jira is missing

Hello, I cannot find any documentation if a synchronization of GitHub issues to Jira will work. Explanation: when user creates an issue in GitHub, automatically trigger a bug creation in Jira

Also, all videos on youtube show only code links, eg branches, commits, etc

can you please update the readme to explain if that feature is supported or not.

Hello,

I was also interested in syncing Github issues to Jira and vice-versa. From the documentation we get a sense that the app is able to read and write issues (here: https://github.com/atlassian/github-for-jira#repository-permissions) but there's no follow up with that information.

Some documentation mentioning that is welcome.

Hi, This is Majid @ Exalate. I am not sure if you have considering 3d party apps for this integration, but if you haven't I would urge you to look at Exalate. It specializes in syncing Github issues and PRs to Jira, and can be set up in a matter of minutes. Thanks Majid

Hey @beliaev-maksim. Unfortunately, this is not something that is currently supported in our integration. That said, it is becoming a heavily requested feature which helps push it to the top of our roadmap/work that needs to be prioritised. I unfortunately can't give you a timeframe at the moment, but will post another update as soon as I can.
