Athens crashes when you expand the "unlinked references" at the bottom of a page.

Problem Had this problem for some time. Happens with a clean database as well. Basically same as #1723. This is on Windows. EDIT: just tested and it doesn't reproduce on 2.0.0-beta13 Screenshots/Demo 136721177-e87f5244-46b2-4d28-9fbf-c23a79b69a79

I'm seeing this in 2.0.0-beta.16 with the Linux appimage

This is fine in 2.0.0-beta.15, but we also found this in 2.0.0-beta.16. Already fixed in https://github.com/athensresearch/athens/pull/2047. Will make release 2.0.0-beta.17 for fix soon.
