I'd suggest that a lot of the datasets here could serve as great examples for that - http://archive.ics.uci.edu/ml/index.php (unless I'm misunderstanding the purpose of this issue) @martindurant

I think it might also be an interesting idea to add support for some of the benchmark style datasets, eg CIFAR 10, MNIST, IMDB, YouTube-8M, etc as starting examples, especially...
