Signs in Isometric View

I have no personal proof of this, but a coworker of mine is having trouble with this issue. Signs don't show up when in isometric view. Is there any particular reason for this, and how could it be fixed? I could do so myself if someone would enlighten me. This is on the 1.7 branch. ~Samwise
