Most likely your getting that error because you're not using the official Minecraft Launcher, the devs of Forge specifically say it doesn't support with non-offical Minecraft launchers. So I would try the official lunacher and see if you get the same error.
I'm using MultiMC, which has worked perfectly for me for more or less everything always.

I'll take your suggestion though, and try the official launcher.

Hm.. From what the error says, it could be a possibility that whatever the code is pulling that 'No Such Method', might be looading it from the wrong side of the game (Server or Client Side). That's what the game normally errors out whenever a mod tries to use a method but loads it on the wrong side, I had such errors with my mods before when I loaded client only methods on the server (the game flat out hated that)
Entirely possible. I'm afraid I'm not great at reading error logs, so I won't be of much help there, but just let me know what I can do to aid this bug search. :)
Alrighty. but I'm not actually sure where the bug occurs at (but it does say which class and line it's talking about) so ima look and see what the code is saying. Oh also, what version are you using?
Ah ha! I just figured out what could fix the bug, I had this a similiar error about block properties back in 1.8 with my previous mod. Custom block properties seems to like being ignored on the client side, so I used a method like this and it worked (This was a while back so I can't exactly remember WHICH side that I was getting the error but it may work for your case). But what you need is something different.. for this I'm not sure of unfortunately as the case I had was with the custom fire block I made for dimensions.
/**
* Tells the game what property to ignore on a {@link Block}
*
* @param block The {@link Block} instance
* @param property The property to ignore
*/
@SideOnly(Side.CLIENT)
public void addStateMapperToIgnore(Block block, IProperty property) {
ModelLoader.setCustomStateMapper(block, (new StateMap.Builder()).ignore(new IProperty[]{property}).build());
}
But the errors are talking about this piece of code in the BlockDragonBreedEgg class:
public static final PropertyEnum<EnumDragonBreed> BREED = PropertyEnum.create("breed", EnumDragonBreed.class);
It looks like there may be something wrong with the code involved in creating separate objects for each breed of egg from the base egg class. Can it be fixed?

It should be fixable, but I'm not sure HOW this case would be fixed.. but should be as simple as adding a state mapping to ignore as I have done here
I discovered that r45 works fine, but r46 still causes the problem.
I have a feeling it's with the way the methods are being accessed
Hm, that's odd. I didn't even touch the BlockDragonBreedEgg class in r46 and now it's suddenly broken? Looks like the static initialization doesn't work as expected in obfuscated environments. Hold on...
Edit: A recompile fixes it. Great. Well, I'll have to change my build method then...
Okay, I re-uploaded the 1.9.4 build, the 1.9 one should be fine. And I also added a build for 1.10.2.
The r46 version works on 1.10. Also, I have yet to encounter the BlockDragonBreedEgg crash. It makes me wonder if there's a conflict with another mod or with 1.9.4.
I was playing on a fresh instance of minecraft, with nothing but the latest 1.9.4 Forge build.

I just set up a dev environment to work on DragonMounts. Checked out the 1.10.2 branch, made a few small changes and tried a compile. Upon testing the resulting jar, I ran into this issue. What changes to the build process are needed to avoid this?
Edit: Dragon Mounts is the only non-Forge mod in my Minecraft instance. Crash report: Edit 2: Removed crash report as it has nothing to do with the solution (see comment below)
RESOLVED
I was using the Gradle jar
task to build the mod jar. This causes the error.
Using the Gradle build
task instead results in a working jar.
