Issue with hatching eggs on a server in 1.7.10

Whenever one tries to hatch an egg on a server in 1.7.10, they recieve this crash, and the crash does not stop until they are moved away from the affected region:

I did some testing, and it is not just related to Cauldron. Any SMP server has this issue.
