Code Of Conduct Committee
Reason/Context
AsyncAPI now has a team called the Code Of Conduct Committee. As per CNCF definition:
is a committee that responds to, investigates, and resolves CNCF Code of Conduct incidents.
We would need to share info about our CoC Committee, and some other info related to it.
Description
- [x] Create a document describing What is the CoC Committee, Who are their members, and to list their responsibilities. #1013
- [x] Create a document explaining the procedure guidelines for enforcing the CoC, such as resolving incidents. #1013
- [x] Update our CoC
- [x] Include the suggestions from https://github.com/orgs/asyncapi/discussions/682#discussioncomment-6052787
- [x] Update to latest version of the Contributor Covenant.
- [x] Add links to the CoC Committee document and the extended enforcement guidelines
- [ ] Add an explanation on how we would communicate updates on the CoC from now on.
- [ ] Add any other modification we need to it.
Aditional tasks not related with this repository:
- [ ] Setup an email such as
[email protected]
- [x] Setup a new Slack Channel such as
#coc

Setup a new Slack Channel such as #coc
Do you @thulieblack have enough Slack permissions to create such a channel?
Nice efforts, thanks for leading with some great action items.
Since @Barbanio has taken up the task of writing #1013, we need to start updating the current CoC next. Anyone who would like to take that up?

Yeah, I would love to do that.
Do I open an issue for it?
Yes, you are welcome to open a Pull Request to update it. Thanks @Mayaleeeee
This issue has been automatically marked as stale because it has not had recent activity
It will be closed in 120 days if no further activity occurs. To unstale this issue, add a comment with a detailed explanation.
There can be many reasons why some specific issue has no activity. The most probable cause is lack of time, not lack of interest. AsyncAPI Initiative is a Linux Foundation project not owned by a single for-profit company. It is a community-driven initiative ruled under open governance model.
Let us figure out together how to push this issue forward. Connect with us through one of many communication channels we established here.
Thank you for your patience
This task is almost complete; we are still waiting on the setup of the email; once that is done we can finally close this
